Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

South African citrus industry closes Valencia orange exports to EU for 2026

The Citrus Growers’ Association of Southern Africa (CGA) and the Fresh Produce Exporters’ Forum (FPEF) have announced the conclusion of the 2026 Valencia orange exports to Europe. The final day of inspection at packhouse level for Valencia oranges to be exported to Europe from regions other than the Western and Northern Cape provinces will be on September 27, they state.
