Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

R3.8bn loan from Germany provides large chunk of electrical infrastructure backlog requirement ...

The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) has secured a R3.8-billion loan from German State-owned development bank KfW, which it will use to finance critical electrical infrastructure investments in the 2025/26, 2026/27 and 2027/28 financial years. The 15-year facility is one of the largest concessional development finance facilities ever to be extended to a South African municipality.
