Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Cape Town unpacks three-year, R6bn budget for electricity infrastructure  

Cape Town’s Energy Directorate says it will spend R6-billion on electricity infrastructure over the next three years. The goal, it says, is to secure the city’s energy needs, and to make electricity supply more reliable and affordable, by reducing the impact of rising Eskom tariffs and by adding cleaner energy sources to the mix.
