Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

UD Trucks unveils upgraded 2026 Quester for South Africa

Japanese vehicle manufacturer UD Trucks will introduce a new truck model to the South African market this year. The 2026 heavy-duty Quester is expected to be commercially available through the company’s domestic dealership network by midyear and will feature the company’s proprietary electronically shifted controlled transmission (Escot) system.
