Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

TRIM issues another batch of sidings lease RFPs to accelerate rail access

State-owned Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager (TRIM) has issued sidings lease requests for proposals (RFPs), covering nine rail siding facilities across the Eastern and Central Regions, marking another milestone in its open market programme aimed at unlocking value from South Africa’s rail infrastructure and expanding access to strategic siding facilities. This follows the issuance of the previous batch of sidings lease RFPs, which included three siding facilities in the Eastern and Central Regions.
