Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

S&P PMI for Aug details easing cost pressures, improved output but declining employment

The S&P Global South Africa Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) for August showed that cost pressures eased for South African businesses, which helped to sustain the expansion in overall operating conditions, while output also improved for the first time in three months, and inventories increased. However, there was a decline in employment and a weakening of sales growth, financial intelligence and credit ratings company S&P says.
