Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Sishi to leave National Treasury for IMF job

National Treasury Budget Office deputy director-general Edgar Sishi will step down at the end of March to take up a position at the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Sishi joined Treasury in 2007 and has been an integral part of the senior leadership of the department for several years. He took over the Budget Office during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and has played a crucial role in navigating public finances through unprecedented challenges, Treasury states.
