Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Sasol half-year profit down 34% on lower oil, chemical prices

South African petrochemical firm Sasol on Monday reported a 34% drop in half-year profit, mainly due to lower oil and chemical prices. Sasol's headline earnings per share was R9.27 in the six months to December 2025, from R14.13 previously.
