Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Rising vehicle write-offs are reaching a potential risk point – body repairers association

The South African Motor Body Repairers Association (Sambra) says rising vehicle write-offs may be reaching a potential risk point, with some vehicles now being written off at levels as low as 35% of their value. Sambra national director Juan Hanekom says this trend is increasing the volume of damaged vehicles entering the market, placing greater pressure on existing systems to ensure transparency and proper tracking.
