Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

R1.7bn allocated to MyCiTi service in Cape Town’s draft budget; R1.9bn for road maintenance

The City of Cape Town’s Urban Mobility Directorate’s proposed operational budget for the financial year, starting July 1, is more than R4.7-billion, which includes R1.7-billion for operating the MyCiTi bus service. Regular and ongoing road maintenance is also a priority, says Urban Mobility MMC Rob Quintas.
