Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Petrol, diesel prices to fall despite end of fuel levy relief

The Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources (DMPR) has confirmed that petrol and diesel prices will decrease significantly from July 1, despite the phasing out of the short-term fuel levy relief implemented in recent months. Petrol 93 will decrease by R2.01 a litre and Petrol 95 by R1.96 a litre, while diesel (0.05% sulphur) will decrease by R3.14 a litre and diesel (0.005% sulphur) by R3.59 a litre.
