Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

New EU drivetrain guidelines require policy response – The Electric Mission

Europe’s recent softening of its zero-emission vehicle policy should not be viewed as offering a lifeline to the South African automotive industry, warns The Electric Mission executive director Hiten Parmar. The revised proposal, which still needs to be accepted by the EU Parliament, proposes that 90% of new vehicles sold in the EU will have to be zero-emission vehicles by 2035, instead of the previous 100%.
