Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Nersa publishes new municipal tariff application deadlines

The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa) has published new timelines for the submission and approval of municipal electricity tariff applications for the 2026/27 financial year. For municipal tariff applications, municipalities or distributors must submit their electricity tariff applications to Nersa by no later than March 31, 2026.
