Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Necsa SMR briefing attracts 54 potential partners

The South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (Necsa) held, on Thursday, a compulsory briefing for suppliers interested in is expression of interest (EOI) regarding small modular reactors (SMRs). The EOI sought a demonstration on (not of) an SMR, and would close on May 29. The briefing session was attended by 54 potential partners for Necsa's programme. They came from 12 countries, including South Africa.
