Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Mercedes-Benz’s East London plant restarts after five-week stoppage

Mercedes-Benz South Africa has restarted the assembly line at its East London plant following what it called a “planned nonproduction period” that ran from June 25 to the end of July. A spokesperson for the local arm of the German car maker says production restarted, as planned, on July 31, on a two-shift system.
