Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Major pipe burst impacts Palmiet booster station

A major burst on the B4 Pipeline is affecting water supply to the Palmiet booster pumping station, Rand Water reported on Thursday. The burst pipe, which occurred at about 06:00 on Thursday, led to a reduction in pumping operations at the Palmiet station to 70% of normal capacity, which may impact water supply to the areas served by the station.
