Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

John Thompson to build 320 t/h bagasse-fired boiler for Indonesian client

Industrial boilers and energy systems manufacturer John Thompson has secured a significant new order from a major industrial company in Indonesia to design and build a 320 t an hour bagasse-fired boiler. This is its fourth order from the Indonesian client in recent months and will be the largest industrial water‑tube boiler ever built at John Thompson’s Cape Town facility.
