Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Joburg advances waste-to-energy project to divert 500 000 t/y from landfill

The City of Johannesburg says it is advancing the procurement of its Alternative Waste Treatment Technology (AWTT) project. The project is a waste-to-energy initiative aimed at diverting about 500 000 t/y of municipal solid waste from landfill.
