Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

India, Southern African customs bloc revive trade pact talks

India and the five-member Southern African Customs Union (Sacu) signed terms of reference on Wednesday to launch negotiations for a preferential trade agreement, as New Delhi seeks tariff relief for exports including automobiles, pharmaceuticals and industrial machinery. The move revives trade talks between India and Sacu, comprising South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho and Eswatini, after negotiations stalled following five rounds of talks held between 2002 and 2010.
