Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Imesa welcomes water plan, says professional registration of senior municipal officials central

The Institute of Municipal Engineering of Southern Africa (Imesa) on Tuesday welcomed President Cyril Ramaphosa’s National Water Action Plan (NWAP), which was published in July. However, the institute argues that professional accountability and utility-style water management is required, along with the professional registration of senior municipal officials.
