Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Icasa approval marks milestone moment for South Africa’s fibre future as Vodacom, Maziv ...

With Maziv and Vodacom securing the approval of the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa), plans are underway to scale investment into South Africa’s fibre landscape. In November, Icasa approved Vodacom’s acquisition of a 30% interest in Maziv, with the regulator’s decision following a comprehensive, multi-year review process involving the Competition Commission, Competition Tribunal and the Competition Appeal Court.
