Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Hulamin’s earnings impacted by operational challenges, currency strengthening

JSE-listed aluminium producer Hulamin expects to report a loss a share of between 43c and 53c for the year ended December 31, 2025, compared with earnings a share of 93c reported for 2024, as the business experienced operational challenges associated with stabilising mill performance. These challenges adversely affected rolled products volumes and resulted in losses owing to quality defects.
