Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

High ad valorem tax on new vehicles ‘highly problematic and anti-developmental’ – Barnes

The government is the biggest beneficiary of the South Africa auto industry, says manufacturing and industrialisation expert Justin Barnes. The average tax on an average vehicle sold in South Africa is roughly R120 000.
