Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Eskom reminds that R10 000 registration fee for solar system less than 50 kVA waived until March 31

State-owned power utility Eskom reiterates that all registration and connection fees of up to R10 000 for small-scale embedded solar systems up to 50 kVA, are waived until March 31. The Electricity Regulation Act requires all systems under 100 kVA to be registered with the network service provider, namely Eskom or municipalities, and comply with grid code requirements, Eskom says.
