Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Ekurhuleni agrees to payment plan with Eskom, avoids immediate electricity interruption

Power utility Eskom has reached an agreement with the City of Ekurhuleni on a payment plan to settle the outstanding debt owed to the utility by the city. As part of the agreement, the city paid Eskom R1.7-billion of the R3.4-billion owed the utility, with the balance to be paid over 18 months.
