Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

DWS, Vaal-Orange CMA undertake raw water tariff consultations

The Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS), in partnership with the Vaal-Orange Catchment Management Agency (VOCMA), has undertaken a public consultation on the proposed raw water tariffs for the 2027/28 financial year. The consultation formed part of a nationwide public participation process aimed at engaging water users and key stakeholders on the proposed tariff adjustments before they are finalised.
