Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Coca-Cola HBC to acquire Coca-Cola Beverages Africa in $2.6bn deal

Bottling partner Coca-Cola HBC has reached an agreement with beverage producer The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) and Gutsche Family Investments (GFI) to buy a 75% stake in Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA). The purchase price of $2.6-billion will be settled through a new bridge financing facility to cover a cash consideration, and Coca-Cola HBC shares issued to GFI representing 5.47% of the Coca-Cola HBC group’s enlarged issued share capital.
