Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Citrus season nears final inspection day for fruits destinated for Europe

As the final day for inspection of Valencia oranges destined for Europe nears on September 20, which will conclude the 2025 export season, the Citrus Growers’ Association of Southern Africa (CGA) and the Fresh Produce Exporters Forum (FPEF) confirm that consumers in Europe have shown exceptional appetite for South African citrus. “Local citrus growers have packed substantially more product for Europe than ever before,” the industry organisations state.
