Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Cheaper EVs are finally entering the local market, but will South Africans bite?

It has been a long-standing argument that more South African consumers would migrate to battery electric vehicles (EVs) once more affordable options become available – most notably under the R400 000-mark. The last few months have seen the arrival of a number of Chinese EVs under, or close to, that price point, with more to come.
