Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Cape Town mulls rolling out congestion charging, high-occupancy vehicle lanes

The City of Cape Town (CoCT) is mulling a number of measures to ease growing congestion, including the introduction of high-occupancy lanes and congestion charging. This means that car users may, in future, pay to enter high-traffic areas during peak hours, and that selected lanes may be reserved for vehicles with more than a certain number of occupants, as well as for buses and minibus taxis.
