Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Cape Town launches R300m project to revamp Strandfontein Pavilion

Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis has launched the city’s multiyear, R300-million redevelopment of Strandfontein Pavilion on the False Bay coast. The recreational site, originally constructed in the 1980s, is built around what city officials say is the southern hemisphere’s largest tidal pool.
