Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Arcelor’s South African assets get approach from steel processors

South African steel processors have approached the country’s biggest development-finance institution with a proposal to help take control of ArcelorMittal SA’s struggling local unit. The industry group, which has six members including labour unions, made a proposal to the state-owned Industrial Development Corp. and includes local processor Allied Steelrode, according to people familiar with the matter.
