Renewable energy engineering firm AfiCoast Engineers SA has announced that a new company,
AfriCoast Energy, will now be responsible for all future renewable energy projects - particulary
wind and solar - while it will also play a key role in guiding AfriCoast Engineers' current
basket of renewable energy projects.

Airtel invests $107m to upgrade more than 400 network sites across Zambia

Mobile network operator Airtel Zambia is investing $107-million in nationwide network upgrades aimed at improving quality of service, expanding coverage and strengthening the resilience of its infrastructure. The investment was highlighted during inspections by Zambia’s Minister of Technology and Science Felix Mutati at the Nyumba Yanga Tower and the Chalala (Shantumbu) site in Lusaka, as part of government engagement with mobile network operators to address public concerns over network reliability.
